I witness and walk by the three horse statue almost every day. it is a monumental statue. It is freaking huge. It is so broad and beautiful and such a trademark of my freshman year dorm room walk. I see students sit on those horses like they are in the derby. I mean my freshman year coming home I climbed up there. The thing is absolutely ginormous, then I thought about how the horse statues have been part of my career here at SMU even when I think back to when I was a senior in high school touring SMU they always stop the three horses and give a brief speech. I can lie. I honestly don’t even know what they are, there for, but they’re pretty damn cool.
